Hucknall Harriers Running Group (“we”, “us”, or “the group”) is a volunteer-run community affiliated with the Association of Running Clubs (ARC). We are committed to respecting your privacy and keeping your personal information safe.

Email address
Emergency contact details (if provided)
Relevant medical information you choose to share for safety reasons

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Help ensure your safety at events
Contact you about group runs, social events, and volunteering
Share updates and photos via social media or newsletters
Meet the Association of Running Clubs (ARC) reporting requirements (e.g. anonymised participant numbers)

We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Photos and Social Media

Photos are often taken at group runs and events and may be shared on our Facebook page, website or other social media.
If you do not wish to appear in photos:

Please inform the group lead or run leader before the session
Step out of view when group photos are being taken

We’ll always respect your wishes without judgment.

4. How We Store Your Information

Your personal data is stored securely:

On password-protected devices
In limited-access systems (e.g. Google Forms, spreadsheets, email platforms)
Only accessible to the group lead or designated volunteers when required

Data will be deleted on request or when no longer needed.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Ask for your data to be corrected or deleted
Withdraw consent for your data to be used
